Abstract
The work examines literary information of the healthy lifestyle concept definition as a set of forms of human activity that ensures his health and a successful life path. The historical aspects of Ukrainian people’s healthy lifestyle formation are substantiated. The theoretical and methodological principles of the healthy lifestyle formation with the help of physical culture are summarized. It has been theoretically studied that physical culture is aimed at the harmonious development of all natural essential forces and the moral spirit of a person in the system of comprehensive improvement of the personality.
